Howell Among Democracy For America's Heroes
Virginia State Senator nominated by PAC for progressive ideas.
State Sen. Janet Howell (D-32nd) is among the hero nominees for Democracy for America's Heroes and Villains - Southern Edition. Also up - in the villain column - is Virginia Attorney General and Gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli.
Reston's Howell, who has represented the 32nd since 1992, has been active in issues such as gun laws, abortion rights, equal rights and advocating for children and people with disabilities.
