Sandwich shop will open at Plaza America this fall.
Reston is getting another lunch option: Penn Station East Coast Subs will open this fall at Plaza America.
The shop will take over the spot formerly occupied by Philadelphia Mike's, says franchise owner Anna Vermillion.
Vermillion and her husband recently opened Penn Stations in Fairfax and in Haymarket and have the rights to eventually open 15 stores in Northern Virginia. There are more than 250 stores nationwide.
Penn Station is known for its Philly cheesesteaks, hand-cut fries and fresh lemonade, says Vermillion.
The store should open by the end of the year, she said.
