Larry Hoffman, Neighbor

Larry manages the Reston Center and oversees outreach to area businesses, government agencies, and community organizations to develop partnerships for customized educational programs. He joined Marymount in May 2011 and is enthusiastic about expanding the ways that the Reston Center serves the community’s educational needs. Previously, Larry was director of graduate marketing and admissions at McDaniel College. He also has broad experience in public broadcasting, serving as director of communications for Maryland Public Television and earlier, New Hampshire Public Television, as well as communications manager for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in Washington, DC. His bachelor’s degree is from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and he has a Master of Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. Larry serves on the board of directors of the Northern Virginia Workforce Development Board. He also is a member of  the board of directors of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce.
