Carolyn Pennington, Neighbor

I am a Reston resident living in the Lake Anne neighborhood. I was fortunate to grow up in Vienna, and have since made a trail around the area living in McLean, Potomac Falls and finally Reston for the past 12+ years. My family and I love Reston for its tennis, golf, farmers markets, local festivals, trails, and programs. I love that my daughter has disected an owl pellet at the Walker Nature Center. Another favorite memory is my husband canoeing on Lake Anne with Snoopy, our beagle, as his partner.

I am a local girl scout troop leader and also volunteer my time as an educational program manager in an organization that teaches children to know the joys of giving.
