BEVERLY COSHAM is one of Washington’s most popular song stylists and actresses. Her one-woman cabaret show has received wide acclaim from coast to coast.  Washington<br> Post critic Mike Joyce reviewing her cd wrote, “Cosham is a master at creating a  warmly evocative mood, no matter how familiar the lyric or how common the sentiment.”<br> Ms. Cosham has performed on most of the stages in the Washington area and was nominated for a Helen Hayes award for her work in “Rebel Armies Deep Into Chad” at the Round House Theatre. Beverly has also appeared as a vocalist at numerous venues including Blues Alley, The Folger Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre, The Lisner Auditorium, The Lyceum, The Arts Club, the Atlas Theatre, and The World Bank. She has been guest artist with the Fairfax City Band, The McLean Symphony, and the Navy Commodores. 

Beverly developed a Master Class, <i>Acting Up A Song</i>, which uses acting techniques to interpret song lyrics. She has taught Improv for children and has developed classes for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute/GMU Program. Ms Cosham has recorded three CDs:  “At Last”, “Beverly Cosham sings Yip Harburg”, and &#34;How Do We Keep the Music Playing?&#34;.

When not performing, Beverly Cosham serves as chair of the Reston Community Center, President of the Reston Community Orchestra and as secretary to the Lorton Arts Foundation.  Beverly is extremely proud to have been a 2011 Best of Reston Honoree.
