The Nowruz Festival - a celebration of the Persian New Year - returns to Reston Town Center Sunday with music, dancing, food and other cultural celebrations. In its second year, the Nowruz Festival holds true to its mission to celebrate and keep alive the ancient, historical and most important Iranian celebration, says festival founder Shohreh Asemi. There will be 75 booths honoring Persian heritage. “The second Nowruz Festival marks another year of continued celebration and success," she said in a news release. "All the artists, musicians, performers, business owners and food, goods, and product providers whom are participating share in our vision of honoring and celebrating Persian traditions and culture."
