Unleashed by Petco, now open at Hunters Woods Village Center, will hold a grand opening celebration this weekend at the new Reston store. The fun runs Friday through Sunday at 2304 Hunters Woods Plaza. The store specializes in pet supplies and food selections that include natural, organic and raw food. Some of these food selections and gourmet treats can be seen and sampled at the Pet Deli. The deli display counter offers fresh, frozen, raw and cooked food. There is also a special sample wall where pets can taste test to find their favorite chow. Pet supply store coming to Hunters Woods Village Center
Reston pet owners will soon have a new spot to shop for food and supplies. Unleashed by Petco will soon open at Hunters Woods Village Center, in the space next to Dunkin' Donuts. Unleashed's Web site says its concept is to "provide the same knowledge and know-how offered by Petco in a unique, smaller package." Unleashed bills itself as a neighborhood pet store, offering (in addition to retail items), grooming, pet birthday parties and cakes, training, a treat bar and pet-friendly special events. Unleashed currently has six Virginia locations, including stores in Sterling, Springfield, Falls Church, Woodbridge, Arlington and Alexandria. An opening date has not yet been announced.

My husband and I visited Unleashed on Saturday morning. We love it! Close enough to walk to and LOTS of choices for pet parents. Nice quality stuff. Can't wait to take my dog for his bath there. $10 is half the price of what you pay @ Webber's down the road to use thier bathing facilities. more ›
