Police: Series of Burglaries in South Reston

Fairfax County Police report four break-ins in South Lakes area.

Fairfax County Police say at least four break-ins were reported at homes in the South Lakes area last week. Entry was made through unlocked doors, police said. Two of the incidents were reported on March 8 and two on March 13. Here are the details: March 8, 4:30 p.m., burglary in the 2200 block of Glencourse Lane. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole a purse. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door.
