BURGLARY, 12000 block of Greywing Square, 9/7/12, 11:15 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole a laptop. Entry was likely made through an unlocked front door. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 13200 block of Stable Brook Way, 9/7/12, 9:40 p.m. A resident returned home to find that someone entered his home through a rear door. Nothing was taken. There was a German Shepherd in the home. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 11800 block of Shire Court, 9/8/12, 12:30 a.m. A resident reported she heard someone entering her home through a kitchen window. She yelled at the suspect as she called police. He fled prior to police arrival without taking anything from the home. ASSAULT, 11900 block of Freedom Place, 9/01/12, 2:20 a.m. Three men reported being assaulted by six other adult males in a parking garage. A 27-year-old man was treated for a non life-threatening injury. PEEPING, 10200 block of Cedar Pond Drive, 09/03/12, 1:20 a.m. A resident reported someone looking through a front window of her home. Suspect described as a white male, 25-30 years old, dark hair and dark facial hair. BURGLARY, 11800 block of Breton Court, 9/5/12, 7:15 a.m. A resident reported someone entered her home and stole a laptop computer and purse. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door. Two Men Rob Pizza Delivery Driver

Incidents reported by Fairfax County Police for week ending Aug. 24. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A pizza delivery driver was robbed in the 1500 block of Northgate Square at 10 p.m. on Aug. 16. The driver told police two men approached, brandished a handgun and demanded money. They fled with cash and the victim was not injured. In other police news: SEXUAL ASSAULT, 12000 block of Sunrise Valley Drive, Aug. 22, 5:15 p.m. The male 41-year-old victim was walking to his car when a man approached from behind. The suspect grabbed the victim’s buttocks and fled. The victim was not injured. CRUELTY TO ANIMAL, 11800 block of Spectrum Center, Aug. 21, 4:15 a.m. Animal Control officers were alerted to a young American Pit Bull tied to a sign in front of a store. ROBBERY, Chimney House Road/North Shore Drive, Aug. 4, 2012, 6:30 p.m. A 41-year-old victim reported he was walking on a foot path when a group of young men and juveniles approached. They demanded his wallet. He refused and they began to punch him. He was able to fight and resist. They fled with his cell phone but not the wallet. DESTRUCTION, 11200 block of Leesburg Pike, Aug. 4, 2012, 3:20 a.m. Officers responded for a burglary alarm and found a glass door shattered. An assistant manager confirmed nothing was stolen. ROBBERY, 11000 block of Becontree Lake Drive, Aug. 7, 2012, 10:30 p.m. The 18-year-old victim reported he was walking when he was pushed from behind. DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, 1700 block of Jonathan Way, 7/13/12, 8:10 a.m. A property manager reported someone allegedly broke into a vacant apartment. Jonathan C. Davies was arrested and charged with destruction of property, unlawful entry, and possession of marijuana. ASSAULT, 11900 block of Fountain Drive, 7/16/12, 2 a.m. The victim reported she was at a bank drive-thru ATM when a suspect approached and pepper sprayed her. The cash was not recovered, and she was treated for the spray. PEEPING, 1600 block of Parkcrest Circle, 7/17/12, 12:10 a.m. The victim reported a man was looking through her dining room window. Sexual assault - Lake Newport Road/Reston Parkway, 6/23/12, 11:45 a.m. The victim and a friend were walking on a path pushing strollers. The suspect was walking toward them. As the two women approached, the suspect reached out and grabbed the victim on the buttocks. He then fled.  Unlawful entry - 11400 block of Washington Plaza, 6/22/12, 2 a.m. The 83-year-old female victim reported someone entered her home through an unlocked front door. Nothing was taken and she was not injured.
