Cedar Cove resident says man touched her when she let him in to use restroom.
A Reston woman says a salesman assaulted her in her home earlier this week. The victim, 47, told Fairfax County Police a man selling meat products came to her door in the 2200 block of Cedar Cove Court on Wednesday. The man asked to use the restroom, police said. Once inside the home, he allegedly touched the victim against her will. He then left the home. The victim was not injured. The suspect was described as white, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and between 160 and 190 pounds. He had brown hair. Keep up with all Reston crime news. Three arrested near Lake Anne Plaza.
Fairfax County Police arrested three teenagers when drugs were found in their car at Lake Anne Plaza last weekend. Police said they approached a car in the parking lot about 10 p.m. Saturday. Following an investigation, several charges were made. Tram Hoang, 18, of Vienna, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule II narcotic. Jessica Shin, 18, of McLean, and Kiana Ragland, 18, of Falls Church, were each charged with possession of marijuana. Police called to incident near Hunters Woods Village Center Wednesday.
Fairfax County Police said four men were injured in a large fight in the 11900 block of Winterthur Lane late Wednesday. Officers were called to the scene at 10:40 p.m. Four victims were found with non life-threatening injuries, police said. One was transported to a hospital and the other three were treated at the scene. The men told police they were approached by two men who asked for money. The confrontation became physical and several other individuals joined in the fight. All suspects fled. The case is under investigation. Juvenile suspects stole cash and groceries, police said.
Police are looking for suspects in a robbery of a man who walking on North Shore Drive on Monday night. The victim, a 23-year-old man, told police he was walking in the 11600 block of North Shore Drive about 10:30 p.m. He said he was walking home when three unknown juveniles approached him. They searched the victim, stole his cash and groceries, and fled, he said. The victim was not injured. Teenager charged with malicious wounding and gang activity.
Fairfax County Police have arrested an 18-year-old Reston man in connection with a stabbing in the 2200 block of Southgate Square early Thursday. Police were called to the neighborhood about 1 a.m. when a 26-year-old reported he was allegedly stabbed by someone known to him. The suspect fled. Many officers, the police helicopter, and a K-9 team searched for the suspect but did not locate him, police said. The victim was treated at a nearby hospital non life-threatening injuries. Police search for - and find- driver who fled traffic stop.
Fairfax County Police took to the skies and ground Monday night to try and apprehend a driver who they said fled from officers at a traffic stop. Police said an officer initiated a traffic stop at North Shore Drive and Wainwright Drive about 10:25 p.m. The vehicle drove away from the officer. A man selling TVs from his home ended up becoming the vicitim of a robbery on Wednesday. A man and a woman arranged to look at the TVs in a home in the 10800 block of Leesburg Pike Wednesday night. Once in the home, the man attacked and tied up the 36-year-old resident. The victim told police other men came to the home, tied up the housemate, and assisted in stealing several items from the home. No one was seriously injured.
