March 14 is Pi Day. Are you celebrating with Pi or Pie?
It's National Pi Day! National Pi Day occurs annually on March 14 - 3.14, the first three digits of pi, which is equal to the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Want to know more? Ask your FCPS student - there is a good chance they are marking the day with a Pi contest (or a Pie contest. It's all about the snacks, too) or visit PIDAY.ORG The recognition of Pi Day was actually passed by Congress in 2009. For those not so mathematically inclined, celebrate Pi with pie, of course.
