Gallery: Fashion for a Good Cause
SLHS students and teachers put on a fashion show to benefit Best Buddies and Amy's Amigos.
South Lakes High School students strutted the runway Thursday at “We R Fashion,' an evening of fashion and dance. The event supported SLHS' Best Buddies club and Amy’s Amigos, a cancer charity founded by several South Lakes sophomores when they were elementary school students. The event featured students with special needs showing their dance moves, South Lakes students modeling their favorite fashions, and even SLHS teachers modeling professional and casual wear. Miss Maryland 2010 also spoke at the event about her work with Best Buddies. The evening was all about students getting to show who they are.
