Five Candidates Will Seek RA Board Spots
Three in the race should be familiar to Reston Association members.
Reston Association's 2013 Board of Directors elections will feature some familiar faces. RA president Ken Knueven will run for re-election to the board - but this time as an at-large candidate. Knueven is currently finishing his first term as the Lake Anne/Tall Oaks Director. Knueven will run against John Farrell, a longtime Reston resident and land use attorney who ran for an at-large seat in 2012. Farrell has been involved in several community organizations, including RA’s Parks and Planning Advisory Committee, youth sports leagues and the Hunter Mill Democrats. Realtor Eve Thompson, who also ran for an at-large seat in 2012, will run unopposed for the Lake Anne/Tall Oaks seat. Thompson is on the board of the Reston Historic Trust and …
