The Reston Museum, located at Historic Lake Anne, is the place to go to understand Reston's history.
The permanent display features a 12-panel storyboard that shows a visual timeline of Reston. Visitors can search through archive materials to see articles and photos of Reston throughout the years. There is also material devoted to Robert E. Simon, Reston's founder.
The museum also features guided tours (Saturdays at 12:15pm), special events, community resource information and a gift shop to purchase items uniquely Reston.
