Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole Opens for Memorial Day Weekend

The Water Mine Family Swimming Hole opens for the season this weekend. After Memorial Day, the pool will close on the weekdays and re-open only on the weekends until Wednesday, June 25, after school is out.

Hours this weekend are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day (Saturday, Sunday and Monday). The pool, at 1400 Lake Fairfax Dr., in Reston, is closed today (Friday). The weather will be in the 70s and 80s this weekend, with the warmest day expected to be Monday, Memorial Day.

You have until Monday to purchase season passes at a discounted rate. The "Gold Rush Discount" is $79 for a single season pass; $142 for a family of two and $48 for each additional family member. (You'll receive four free guest passes with the purchase of a Gold Rush family season pass.)

Season Pass Rates after May 26 are $95 for a single season pass; $168 for a family of two and $53 for each additional family member.
