Food and Fun at Taste of Reston

Annual Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce event takes over Reston Town Center.

Local restaurants, wineries and other business lined Market Street as the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce's 23rd annual Taste of Reston.

The festival has grown since its inception to become the largest outdoor spring food festival in Northern Virginia, and two years in a row has been voted Best Food Festival of Northern Virginia by Virginia Living magazine.

New to the festival this year was the "Wine n' Dine" section of the town center, where many restaurants sold popular items off their menus to festival-goers, and a number of wineries hosted wine tastings. Several local chefs also participated in live cooking demonstrations.

This year, the festival features four stages with live music, including a DJ booth and an acoustic music stage. Just outside of the town center is a carnival for families to enjoy, complete with rides and popular carnival games.

The festival will conclude Saturday night, but the carnival will remain open on Sunday for families to enjoy. Tickets, which act as currency inside the festival, are $1 each or $20 for 24 tickets. Ticket prices remain the same inside the carnival.
