Pulling Planes at Dulles, Art in Leesburg and Reston Youth Association Pep Rally

Reston Youth Association (football) is having a fall rally on Friday, 7:30 p.m. at the turf practice field at South Lakes High School. The event will feature a performance by the Reston Youth Cheer teams and the introduction of the RYA Tackle and Flag football teams and coaches.  Info here.

* Saturday is the 21st annual Dulles Day Plane Pull and Family Festival.  The event benefits Special Olympics Northern Virginia. Cheer on teams who will competing to pull an 82-ton cargo  plane.

There will also be live music, a pizza-eating contest, airplane displays, tours of the active runways, kids’ play areas with bounce-houses and a dunk tank, a classic car show, food and refreshments, and much more. * Catch the Leesburg Fine Art Festival in downtown Leesburg on Saturday and Sunday. Dozens of artists in a variety of mediums will have booths at King and Market Streets. Free. More info here.
