Fall Signups for Fun Things in Reston
This is the week to think about kids' extracurricular sports and activities.
The new school year is almost here, and it is time to think ahead. Many sports leagues and other activities are having signups right now. Here are five of note. Did we miss your team's? Add the info in the comments.
1. Tryouts for the Under 16 Redbirds Girls Softball Tournament begin Monday. Details here.
2. Reston Youth Association flag football for boys and girls 5-12 is underway. Click here for more info.
3. Registration for Reston Soccer is underway, and the season begins the first week in September. Click here for details.
4. The indoor pool at Reston Community Center is closed for maintenance from Aug. 19 to Sept. 15, but when it reopens it will be ready for aquatics classes of all levels. Click here for registration info.
5. Classical Ballet Theatre will hold Academy Auditions for various levels the week of Aug. 26. Click here for more details.
