The 21st annual event, sponsored by in partnership with the , honors businesses, organizations, and individuals that have contributed significant effort in their commitment to community service and improving the lives of others. Proceeds will benefit Reston Interfaith.

Community members submitted nominations for the awards nominations between September and November 2011. An anonymous panel reviewed all nominations and selected the six winners of this year’s awards.
