Gallery: Marching, Serving to Remember MLK

It was a full schedule of activities on Reston on Monday to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr.

The day began with a commemorative march from Southgate Recreation Center to Reston Community Center at Hunters Woods.

At RCC, citizens of all ages took part in community service projects, including making meals for clients at Reston Interfaith's Embry Rucker Community Shelter and sorting donated items for Herndon's The Closet.
