How Will You Spend MY TIME in your BONUS YEARS?

Maintaining a purposeful life after work and families can be challenging, combined with changes in health or financial pressures it can be overwhelming.

Bestselling author and former Washington Post writer Abigail Trafford refers to MY TIME a “personal renaissance” and “a whole new stage in the life cycle”.  For many of us we dream of the day when we will shed responsibilities of work, and our families are grown, but when that day comes the path can often be confusing and intimidating.

For some, changes in health, mobility or financial issues could prompt us to ask the question:  What and I going to do with the rest of my life?

Celebrating this unique life stage and sharing ideas and solutions will be the focus of the Older American’s Month Celebration on May 22 at Reston Community Center Hunters Woods.  Abigail Trafford will present a keynote and conduct a book signing of My Time, Making the Most of the Bonus Decades After Fifty at the
conclusion of the event.  Attendees will also be treated to a panel of Reston residents sharing their personal stories of how they reinvented their lives in the spirit of MY TIME.
