Way to Go, Reston Boys! NCSL Soccer Team Headed to Regionals
State championship down, regionals and nationals to go.
Here's something that's better than a kick in the pants: Reston United Blue, the under-12 team playing in the National Capital Soccer League, is headed to the Easter Regionals in the National Presidents Cup Tournament.
Coached by Kamal Ismail, the Reston boys beat FCSC United last weekend, 2-1, then traveled to Richmond to play in the State Finals, where they beat PWSI Courage, 8-3.
The Regionals will be played May 23-26 at Slippery Rock University, Dicks Sportsplex and North Boundary Park in Pennsylvania.
