Triathletes Ready to Race Through Reston

The 29th annual Reston Triathlon returns Sunday. Will you be watching or participating?

Hundreds of triathletes will race through Reston early Sunday when the 29th Reston Triathlon takes place.

If the weather holds - as it is supposed to - it will be a return to the full triathlon course. The race has been hampered by rain the last three years - rain canceled the 2009 swim; a slick course in during the bike portion; from Tropical Storm Lee days earlier canceled the swim portion.

The forecast for this Sunday - Partly sunny. High of 78. In other words, perfect triathlon weather.
