South Lakes' Price First Team All-Met

Senior track star finished second in state in triple jump.

South Lakes High School senior Sean Price was named to The Washington Post's First-Team All Met Boys Track Team.

Price,  who also played wide receiver on the Seahawks' football team and earned a scholarship to play at Appalachian State University, f

Price won the long and  triple  jumps and 100 and 200 at the Northern Regionals. He also was second in high jump.

Meanwhile, Herndon soccer coach Sean Lanigan, a teacher at South Lakes, was named the Coach of the Year. The Hornets finished 14-2-1 and were undefeated in the regular season.

Herndon forward Patrick McLaughlin was a first-team All Met boys soccer selection.
