South Lakes Girls Basketball Moves to 8-0 With Win Over St. Frances

South Lakes Varsity Girls basketball moved to 8-0 with a victory in the first round of the Boo Williams Christmas Classic.

The South Lakes High School Girls Varsity team moved to 8-0 Thursday, Dec. 26, with a win in the opening round of the Boo Williams Christmas Classic in Hampton, Va. 

Per South Lakes Athletics, "the Seahawks continued their balanced play and defeated Saint Frances Academy (Baltimore, Md.), 59-42."

South lakes has had three players in double figures for the third consecutive game. Senior center Abigail Rendle finished with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 7 blocks.

Junior forward Princess Aghayere, had her second double double of the season with 14 points (6/8 FG), and 15 rebounds. Aghayere also added 1 assist and 4 steals.

Senior guard Natalie Toma sparked a second half run for the Seahawks, and finished with 11 points, (4/5 FG), (3/3 FT), 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.

Up next for south lakes: Friday, Dec. 27, versus Central Bucks West High School (Penn.), at 9 p.m.
