South Lakes Cross Country Ends At Regionals

South Lakes High School's cross country season came to an end Friday at the Northern Regional Meet at Burke Lake Park.

Individual race winners were Sean McGorty (14:18) of Chantilly and Sophie Chase (16:42) of Lake Braddock . The Chantilly boys and Lake Braddock girls also won the team championship.

The top four team and the top 15 individuals advance to Saturday's state meet at Great Meadow in The Plains.

Both South Lakes boys and girls teams finished 10th overall.
