Seahawks beat DC's Theodore Roosevelt in final Holiday Hoops Classic game; Wrestlers win Woodson tournament.

South Lakes (5-4) played its second overtime game in three days, this time pulling out a 72-66 victory over the Theodore Roosevelt Riders from Washington, DC to claim the championship of the consolation bracket of the George Long Holiday Hoops Tournament.

The Seahawks had five players score in double figures -- DJ Christian led the way with 18 points, followed by Mitch Dempster with 17 points, Clay O'Neill with 11 point, Jordan Francis and JD Wallace each with 10 points.

The Seahawks return to Liberty District action  Tuesday night when they host the Thomas Jefferson Colonials at 7:30 p.m.

Wrestling - South Lakes was the team winner of the Cavalier Classic Wrestling Tournament at Woodson High School.

Weight class champions were Kevin Argueta at 106 lbs., Abdul Raufi at 113 lbs., and Ryan Forrest at 160 lbs.
