Football: Seahawks Fall 21-19 at Louisa County

South Lakes still looking for first win of 2011 season.

Update, Saturday, 8:27 a.m.: Louisa County defeated South Lakes 21-19. It was the Seahawks' closest game of the season, but South Lakes (0-5) remains winless under first-year head coach Marvin Wooten.

Louisa County's Andre Mealy ran for two touchdowns and the Lions stopped a two-point conversion to hold on and beat the Seahawks.

Louisa (4-1) was up 21-13 in fourth. South Lakes scored with 4:37 left to give South Lakes a chance to tie, but Vaughn's two-point pass was incomplete.

The Seahawks next host McLean on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m.

The Seahawks (0-4) will be traveling 100 miles away to Mineral, VA, to play Louisa County High School. Mineral has been in the news lately as it was the epicenter of the August earthquake that rocked Virginia.

The Louisa County Lions were district champions in 2010 and are 3-1 after a 41-37 loss to Monticello last week.

The Seahawks are still looking for its first win under new head coach Marvin Wooten.
