Several Reston Youth Basketball (RYB) boys travel teams will be playing in Fairfax County Youth Basketball League (FCYBL) post-season tournament games this weekend and the next.
The U12 Div 2 (coached by Chris Lee), U11 Div 1 (coached by Paul Snell), and U11 Div 2 (coached by Herb Lansdowne and David Lansdowne) all earned postseason bids.
The U12 Div 2 team were the regular season champions of their division, posting a season record of 13-1. Team players are: Kevin Damper, Marvin Grunshie, Deonte Hall, Sean Hill, John Hughes, Max Kidd, Mickias Kumbi, Taj Maleve, Conner McBride, Keith McKeever, Dillon Most, Michael Patrick, and Jordan Taylor. The team’s first playoff game is Sunday, 7:15 p.m. at McLean High School.

The U11 Div 2 team were also regular season champs, also completing the season with a record of 13-1. Team players are: Ty Baylor, Marcus Cherry, Luka Garza, Matthew Hughes, Micah Johnson-Parrotte, Sam Kidd, Tyler Mowery, Chase Naidu, Andrew Powers, Teddy Reddington, and Cameron Savage. The team’s first playoff game will be Sunday at 2:15 p.m. at Lee High School.
The U11 Div 1 team finished the regular season with a record of 9-5. Team players are: Joe Briggs, Mark Brown, Winston Evans, Damon Johnson, Jack Kidd, David Kroll, Vashon McCants, Andrew McClellan, Justin Shelby, Fraser Sims, Justin Taylor, Joe Wilson. The team’s first playoff game is Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Luther Jackson Middle School.
