Redskins take on Philadelphia. Where to watch — and watch out for the traffic.

Washington and Philadelphia fans have had to wait longer than anybody to get this regular season rolling, but the time is here: The Redskins take on the Eagles tonight at FedEx Field.

Here’s hoping the oddsmakers have things right: Scoresandodds.com has the Redskins as 4.5-point favorites.

Nobody knows, of course, what will happen on the field. But we all know what will happen to roads in the area: They’ll be jammed.

The Washington Post has a story about INRIX, a company that analyzed traffic from past Monday night games and came up with this: If you’re commute is usually 45 minutes on game night between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., you’re going to be looking at double that time.
