South Lakes runner Ashkan Mohammadi ran the course in 16:14 to finish fifth in the boys race as the Seahawks placed third at the Liberty District Cross Country Championships at Burke Lake Park on Thursday.
The Seahawks finished behind Thomas Jefferson and Stone Bridge.
Top finishers for the girls team were Virginia McGiboney and Valentina Golac. The girls team finished sixth overall.
