Former Seahawk Sean Price Has Career Game

Receiver leads Appalachian State with 231 yards against Georgia Southern in what is adding up to an outstanding first season.

Former South Lakes High School football player Sean Price continued his outstanding redshirt freshman season at Appalachian State with a career-high game in a 31-28 victory at Georgia Southern last Saturday.

Price, who graduated from SLHS in 2011, entered the game ranked second in the Southern Conference and leading all freshman in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.

Against Georgia Southern, he had seven catches for 231 yards and had a 56-yard touchdown catch.

Price and quarterback Jamal Jackson helped the Mountaineers compile 453 total yards.

In eight games this year,Price has  compiled 58 catches for 914 yards and eight touchdowns, already besting his entire high school career.
