Football: South Lakes Travels to McLean
Seahawks return to Liberty District play against Highlanders.
Fresh off a 27-21 non-conference home victory against Louisa County, the South Lakes Seahawks return to conference play when they travel to McLean on Friday.
The Seahawks (2-3 overall) will be seeking their first Liberty District victory (they are 0-2) and a chance to even their overall record.
With two victories in 2012, the team has already won more games than it did in 2011, which was coach Marvin Wooten's first season.

Louisa County chipped away at South Lakes' 21-0 second half lead by scoring three straight touchdowns. The Seahawks broke the tie when quarterback Rashaan Jones ran in a touchdown with eight minutes remaining to win the game.
McLean is 3-2, 1-2 overall and is coming off a 42-6 victory over Marshall.
