Fairfax Babe Ruth All Star Team Wins District Title

Team also won honors as 13 year olds in 2012.

The Northern Fairfax County (NFC) 14YO All Star team won the Babe Ruth District 13 title game in extra innings on Monday night at Langley High School.  The win was a repeat victory as District champs; the NFC squad of 13YO players won the District title last year.

The NFC team defeated Arlington 4-3 in a tightly contested game that required eight innings to complete.   NFC and Arlington also matched up earlier in the double-elimination tournament for a game which lasted 10 innings across two days of play and ended with NFC winning 6-4.
