Basketball: SLHS Girls Keep Rolling

Seahawks crush Marshall for sixth straight win.

South Lakes High School's girls basketball team won its sixth straight game Friday, rolling over Marshall 45-32 on the road.

The No. 17 Seahawks were led by Abigail Rendle with 22 points and five rebounds. The Seahawks improve to 17-2 overall, 10-1 Liberty District.

Marshall remains winless in the conference at 0-12. The Statesmen are 4-16 overall.

The Seahawks lost to Marshall 65-46 on Friday.

 Brandon Kamga led South Lakes with 23 points. Marshall had three players with double figures, including Grant Leibow, with a team-high 16 points.

South Lakes is 8-12 overall, 5-7 Liberty. Marshall improves to 13-6, 8-4.
