Basketball: Seahawk Boys Win By More Than 30
South Lakes wins at Marshall, 74-43, in Liberty District matchup.
The South Lakes boys basketball team had no trouble with Marshall High School on Tuesday, defeating the Statesman 74-43 on the road.
South Lakes (8-4, 3-2 Liberty District) was up 20-4 after the first quarter.
All 14 Seahawks players saw action, with 11 scoring. Jordan Francis led the Seahawks attack with 14 points, followed by JD Wallace with 11 points and Mitch Dempster with 10 points.
With the loss, Marshall is now 5-7, 0-5. The Seahawks hit the road again on Friday against Madison.
