I went to the office of Sharon Sethi for a routine, annual gynecological visit. The location is a suite within a predominately healthcare-filled office space. The exterior of the building looked well kept. The actual waiting area within Sethi's suite was small but clean. There was a flat screen out front and a few seats. The check in area is a glass window where patients are to sign their name and speak to the receptionist. Kind of like ordering food in a sketchy area.

They asked for all the pertinent information, I confirmed with them as well as another third party on payment and everything was good to go. I arrived at the required 15 minutes before my appt. 1 hour later Sethi still had not arrive to the office. In turn, all of the patients waiting were off schedule. No one informed us of the delay, apologized or anything.

2 hours later once I got into the office to see the doctor, and de-robed, I was left there for another 20 minutes. The back office is not updated like the front. Just a few bare rooms with the standard supplies needed for exams.

Once Sethi appeared she seemed VERY rushed, she asked the basic questions that practitioners do, she then quickly and quite roughly did the physical exam. Our entire exchange was so demeaning towards me. She said things a doctor wouldn't say. She was so incredibly unprofessional. When I probed her on questions SHE initially posed, she pointed to a white crumbled piece of paper on the wall that stated something to the affect of "make an appointment for each concern." Very classy.

The entire interaction took 10-15 minutes. She became annoyed when I asked her what the plan of action was before she left the room. She proceeded to tell me that she had other patients waiting. I reminded her that I patiently waited though my appointment was almost 3 hours+ late. She looked to the sky in exasperation and pointed to her wall again saying she didm't have time for this.

Ladies, when I tell you I was as cool as a cucumber, believe me. I nicely gathered my clothing and while getting dressed she proceeded to berate me to one of her employees outside the door. HIPPA would love to know the superb effectiveness of their policies at this office -wonder what else is being done with our information. --

Sethi, went on to bill erroneous charges to my insurance company. Some of which were denied. The trusty doctor however was not done, she threatened me with numerous collections attempts for months although it is against insurance policies. She was going to get her denied claims paid one way or another.

I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. Even they deserve professional, courteous, and privacy during such a sensitive thing as healthcare...

No stars.
