US News & World Report Tabs GMU As 'Up And Coming'
Mason is No. 2 on one of magazine's annual college lists.
George Mason University is a school to watch.
So says US News & World Report, which released its annual college rankings list on Tuesday.
The magazine named the Fairfax school No. 2 on its list of "Up and Coming Schools."

Mason topped the list of Up-and-Coming Schools in 2008, which should probably make it an "already arrived" school by now, right? In any case, Maryland-Baltimore County topped the 2011 list of the Up and Coming.
University of Virginia came in at No. 25 on the National Universities, No. 3 on the Best Public Universities list and No. 24 for the Best Value.
