Singing Strong At SingStrong in Reston
Hundreds of a Capella singers gather at South Lakes High School to make music - without instruments.
Hundreds of singers convened at South Lakes High School over the weekend for the fifth Annual SingStrong A Capella Festival.
Well-known international a capella groups performed at the two-day event, as did groups from area high schools. Students also took part in a number of workshops.
South Lakes' Chamber singers won the high school divison.

Proceeds from the event benefitted SLHS' Chorus programs and the Alzheimer's Association.
Check out the attached video of the Single Singers - singers who attended the festival unattached to a group but ready to perform. Among the Single Singers was Reston resident and former Hunter Mill rep to the Fairfax County School Board Stuart Gibson.
