New Drop Off Spot At SLHS

In response to concerns regarding the significant traffic back ups on the stadium side South Lakes High School has moved parent drop-off to the flag pole side of the school.

This change splits the two largest driving groups (parents and students) and will hopefully alleviate some of the traffic congestion in the mornings, says SLHS principal Bruce Butler.

Bus drop off has been moved the the stadium side.

If students drive, please reinforce that for saftey reasons students cannot begin their drive home until all buses have left campus after school, Butler said.

School administration also suggests that parents dropping off students approach the school from the entrance on Ridge Heights Road rather than from South Lakes Drive.
