More than 100 students and teachers at South Lakes High School created a winter wonderland of gingerbread houses - and a mosque, a castle and even a circus - at the school's seventh-annual Gingerbread House Contest on Monday.
The teams worked with materials such as candy, frosting, cookies, pretzels, and of course, gingerbread. At stake? Bragging rights and as much candy you could pilfer from the building supply.
The completed works will be on display at the school for several weeks.
