Silver Line: On Track to Loudoun

February and March have been full of news on the Silver Line Metrorail Project. Do you know the latest on the Silver Line's progress? Are you aware of how the presence of rail could impact your business?  Did you know that Fairfax and Loudoun Counties have just entered the 90-day period to decide how they will fund Phase II of the project?

In February, the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce conducted a survey on the Silver Line Metrorail project asking members of the Dulles Corridor business community about their perspectives on the project, including where the Silver Line should end; the impact of rail on company recruiting efforts; and employer incentives on using the rail to commute. This luncheon will give you inside access to the survey results focusing on keeping the Silver Line on track through completion of Phase II.   Hear directly from key decision makers including:

  • Virginia Secretary of Transportation Sean T. Connaughton;
  • Fairfax Co. Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon Bulova;
  • Loudoun Co. Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott York; and
  • President/CEO of Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority-Jack Potter;
  • Panel Moderator Mark Looney of Cooley LLP
  • You do not want to miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity to get the inside track on Rail to Dulles / Loudoun - register today with the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce as space is limited!
