Co-Parenting during and after DIVORCE:

Present a united front when making decisions for the children.

Set consistent rules in both homes.

Set consistent routines in both homes.

Avoid blaming the other parent, especially in the presence of the children.

Remain positive; look for solutions instead of focusing on the problems.

Support the relationship that the child has with both parents and step/half siblings.

Create opportunities for your children to talk to you and the other parents TOGETHER when necessary.

NEVER place your children in the middle of yourself and the other parent!!!

Be sensitive to your children and their needs, when bringing new romantic partners into your life.

Make your co-parenting plan CHILD CENTERED.
