Autism and Communication Group

Children and adults with autism and their caregivers are invited to a new group to learn about communication and inclusion.

Reston's Henry Yen, a teen with autism, recently attended the 2011 Institute on Communication and Inclusion at MIT.  He  has difficulty speaking and so has learned to type to communicate.

Henry and his mother Joan are starting a group in Reston to provide ongoing training, practice and community for children and adults who are interested in typing to communicate.
