Now Open: Forever Shine Nail Salon

New nail salon replaces Nail Palace at Lake Anne Plaza

Lake Anne Plaza welcomed a new locally-owned business last week - Forever Shine Nail Salon.

Forever Shine took over the space at 1613 Washington Plaza, replacing Nail Palace. Nail Palace closed Dec. 31 after it chose not to renew its lease.

Forever Shine has remodeled the space and is open for manicures, pedicures and other nail salon services. Walk-ins are welcome.

I had stopped going to Nail Palace because it went downhill with cleanliness and service. Walking from the drug store ysterday, I noticed the new place. Stopped in and made an appointment. Just came back from a fabulous french manicure and pedicure with wax and massage and gell for less than a manicure at another salon. Very impressed with Forever Shine and hope Amy and her crew can keep up the standards. She has the right idea!

I have been a client of Amy's for 9 years. Over the 9 years, Amy worked in two different salons in Reston and her loyal clientele have followed her from salon to salon! I knew her goal was to eventually open her own salon and I was hoping she would stay in the Reston area...such an accomplishment for her and very exciting to see her dream come true. Amy greets everyone with a warm smile and you can be guaranteed that she will remember your name after your first visit. Her services are top notch and she does a fabulous job 'coaching' her clientele on the products she uses and their benefits. I highly recommend that you visit the salon...you will want to tell your friends all about it too!

So glad to see this new salon. Didn't feel welcome in old salon. I've been twice this month. Both Cindy and Amy did a great job. Amazing mani pedi out shines oth spas in quality and cost. Pleasant, relaxing massage and atmosphere.

I too have been a client of Amy for about 10 years. I would follow her anywhere. She knows how to treat her clients and her attention to detail and creativity are without compare. If I come in with a broken nail she fixes it without question or compensation (but I usually tip her anyway). She has an amazing memory too. I will mention something to her and she will remember it 3 weeks later. You won't be disappointed, and even in the remote chance that you are, she will fix it until you are happy. She now has 3 staff that can handle you and a couple of friends. Make an appointment if you want a specific time and day since Forever Shine is getting more popular.

I have been a client of Amy's shortly before she left Hunter Woods Nail and Spa and when she opened Forever Shine I has no hesitation then to follow her at her new salon.
