Coming Soon: Yogiberry at South Lakes

Frozen yogurt store renovating vacant Verizon Store space.

Reston will soon have another face in its growing frozen yogurt crowd.

Yogiberry, the local chain that opened a store at Reston Town Center earlier this year, is renovating the space at South Lakes Village Center left vacant by the Verizon Store.

The Verizon Store closed for renovations in February, but never reopened.

No opening date for Yogiberry has been announced. Other Reston frozen yogurt shops include Iceberry at Reston Town Center and sweetFrog at North Point.

Oh thank goodness. I was getting very concerned about the lack of fro-yo access in Reston.

Praise Be! I will not be happy until there is a fro-yo on every corner of our fair census designated area and I fervently hope and pray that when they pave over Reston National (R.I.P.), that the developers budget space to put in several fro-yo businesses. Because nothing says Reston like Greedy Developers and Fro-Yo. It is truly Who We Are.

I'm excited to have something alittle closer to us. We walk around the Lake and come by the SL shopping center all the time. My daugthers will love it :)

It does not matter who is bringing this item to the forefront: rules should not be adjusted everyRead More time it is convenient. I seem to remember someone who just had to resign because they no longer lived in Reston. Not having been privy to all the politics in town, any adult with a functioning brain should have known or been told by their expert real estate agent, that the property being purchased was not within Reston boundaries and thereby disqualifying them from office within the established rules.

Molly-you have hit it on the head! We shouldn't be starting down this slippery slope of ruleRead More changing for 1 person.I do not know this individual , but that is not the issue here.
