Closing Soon: Uno at Reston Town Center

Restaurant location will be site for new Ted's Bulletin.

Uno Chicago Grill will close later this spring to make way for several commerical real estate sources say.

A deal has been in the works for several months as Ted's Bulletin sought the right location for its first Northern Virginia location. Uno, at 11948 Market St., has been a longtime tenant of the Town Center.

The original Ted's Bulletin is at 505 8th Street SE and a future location planned for 14th Street NW in DC. Co-owners Drew Kim and Mark and Ty Neal also own several Matchbox restaurants in the District, in Rockville, and soon in the Mosaic District in Merrifield.

The restaurant will be approximately 180 seats and will also include a bakery, says Ty Neal. It will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Ted's Bulletin is known for homey food with a twist. Among the bestsellers: hearty breakfasts (and homemade Pop-Tarts), burgers and gourmet milkshakes.

Ted's Bulletin is expected to open in the fall.

Absolutely, Aileen...and when the newer, more expensive boîtes and boutiques are installed, they'll ebb away, too, when the initial curiosity abates.

Hmmm, Earth-Toned Hooters: there's an establishment whose time has come!

Agreed on BRB, but not the Counter. I think the Counter makes the best burgers in this area beyond my own grill :-) They also have great sweet potato fries.

My grandkids are not going to be happy unless the replacement is just as welcoming!
