Chanukah Happenings

There is a lot going on this Chanukah....Mark your calendars.

Times Change. Not so long ago, Chanukah meant some latkes, a spin of the dreidel, a few songs belted out by an off tune uncle, and of course, the menorah, a jelly doughnut or two and a gift if you were lucky. That was the whole Megillah.  Not any more.

Chabad is lighting up the Chanukah season with enough winter fun to last a lifetime.

The kindling of the Menorah each night of the holiday highlights Chanukah, a holiday that enriches our lives with the light of tradition. In ancient times our ancestors rededicated the Temple in Jerusalem with the Menorah. Today, we rededicate ourselves to making this world a better and brighter place. Chanukah also propagates the universal message that ultimately good will prevail over evil, freedom over oppression and light over darkness.
