Storytelling Event Boosts Camp Scholarships

Better Said Than Done's night at Nature House earns more than $1,000 for Friends fo Reston.

Friends of Reston raised more than $1,000 to be used towards camp scholarships when it hosted storytelling troupe Better Said Than Done, earlier this month at

Better Said Than Done presented Our Bodies, Our Selves, where storytellers shared personal tales of tattoos, dealing with Alzheimer's, marathon running and other crazy things we do and have done with our bodies.

There is still time to donate to Friends of Reston's camp scholarship fund. To contribute: please send your check to ATTN: Katie Shaw, Friends of Reston, 12001 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston VA 20191 and write “Camp Scholarship” in the memo section.
