Reston Association Asks For Master Plan Draft Changes

RA Board of Directors asks for tweaks to better relect changing population and member needs.

Reston Association's board of directors is requesting changes to the comprensive plan being worked out by the Reston Master Plan Special Study Task Force.

For several years, the task force has been studying how best to change approach changes to the master plan as reston readies to become a more transit-oriented community.

RA is requesting changes to the May 28 draft of Reston Transit Station Areas Comprehensive Plan.

In a letter to the chair of the Reston Master Plan Special Study Task Force, Patty Nicoson, RA Vice President Andy Sigle, provided 16 bullet points that include comments and specific recommendations. Click here to read the letter, which covers a diverse list of subjects, from density ratios to indoor tennis.

The task force is meeting Tuesday.
